DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility Check
  • Poor connection to chassis ground at ECM
  • Open or short circuit between ECM AT/MT and chassis ground
Enable Conditions
  • TCU MIL ON request signal valid
  • RPM > 2200 and Speed > 60 Km/h (37.3 mph)
  • MAF > 125 mg (0.3 mlb)/TDC
  
Threshold Value
  • No "D" signal detected
Diagnostic Time
  • 15 sec. Continuous
