DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit shorted
  • Short in PCSV harness
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty PCSV
Enable Conditions
  • 2% < Purge control valve PWM < 98%
  • Battery voltage > 10V
  
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground or Short to Battery
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 sec. Continuous
