BELT ADJUSTMENT

Application (1) Deflection - In. (mm)
A/C Compressor & P/S
New Belt 0.20-0.22 (5-5.5)
Used Belt 0.24-0.28 (6-7)
Check After Operation 0.31 (8)
Generator (2)
(1) Deflection is with 22 lbs. (10 kg) pressure applied midway on longest belt run.
(2) Equipped with automatic belt tensioner. Set tension nut to 25-40 ft. lbs. (34-54 N.m).
