  • Condition of idle switch is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short in idle switch circuit
  • Defective idle switch
  • Defective ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed < 850 rpm
  • Vehicle speed = 0
Threshold value
  • Idle switch is not made "ON" for at least once during 1 driving cycle
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
