System Inspection

Check Canister Filter 

1. IG KEY: OFF, Engine: OFF
2. Detach Canister filter.
3. Check Canister filter for blockage.
4. Is Canister filter contaminated with dust?

   YES

   1. Canister filter is OK.
   2. Possibility of defective ECM. Temporarily test with a new ECM and check for proper operation.

   If problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO

   1. Repair or replace it. Then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
