Air Bag Module (Drive Side) And Clock Spring: Installation

- Disconnect the negative (-) cable from battery and wait for at least three minutes.
- Remove ignition key from the vehicle.
- Connect the Driver Airbag (DAB) harness connectors, then install a Driver Airbag (DAB) module on the steering wheel.
- Secure the Driver Airbag (DAB) with the new mounting bolts.
Tightening Torque (DAB Mounting Bolt)
: 8 ~ 10 N.m (5.8 ~ 7.2 lb.ft)
- Connect the battery negative cable.
- After installing the airbag, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should blink for about six seconds and then go off.
- Make sure both horn buttons work.
