Manual Trans: Overhaul: Components: Differential: Notes

Before disassembly, inspect backlash of side gears and pinion gears. Refer to PREINSPECTION .
Disassemble in order shown in figure. Refer to DISASSEMBLY NOTE .
Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
Assemble in reverse order of disassembly. Refer to ASSEMBLY NOTE .
Measure backlash after assembly. Refer to BACKLASH OF SIDE GEAR AND PINION GEAR .
