Installation 1 Speed
NOTE:
The pump motor assembly O-rings must be replaced if the pump motor is being serviced. The O-rings are of different size and must not be interchanged.
- Install NEW
pump motor O-rings.
- The red O-ring (3) is installed first, and is nearest the pump flange.
- The blue O-ring (4) is installed last, and sits nearest the outboard edge.
- Install the pump motor assembly (1) onto the Rear Driveline Module (RDM).
- Install the three pump motor bolts (1) and uniformly finger tighten until the pump motor assembly is fully seated to the housing. Tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the pump motor wire harness connector (2).CAUTION:
Do not mix hydraulic fluid and the RDM lubricant. Use only recommended fluid to prevent damage to Rear Driveline Module components. Fluid must meet material specification MS-2155.
- Fill the RDM with differential fluid. Refer to FLUID, DIFFERENTIAL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
