Keyless Ignition Node

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - STANDARD SINGLE BATTERY SYSTEM or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM .
2. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the Instrument Panel Bezel from the instrument panel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, APPLIQUE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and/or BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and/or BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, STEERING WHEEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector.

4. Press the retaining clip and remove the KIN from the mount.

5. Remove the outer trim ring from the KIN.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
