Power Side Step Module

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - STANDARD SINGLE BATTERY SYSTEM or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM .
2. Remove the driver side steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   1 - Fasteners

   2 -Wire Harness Connectors

   3 - PSSM

3. Disconnect the Power Side Step Module (PSSM) wire harness connectors (2).
4. Remove the fasteners (1).
5. Remove the PSSM from the vehicle (3).

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle and then perform the required. Refer to MODULE, POWER SIDE STEP (PSSM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
