Smart Lighting Module

NOTE:

REMOVAL

Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

1 - Screws

2 - Smart Lighting Module (SLM)
Remove the screws securing the Smart Lighting Module (SLM) to the front lamp unit.
Disconnect the wire harness connector from the SLM.

INSTALLATION

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

NOTE:

If replacing the module, verify the seal is installed and replace and screws.

Tighten the screws securely.

NOTE:

AFTER REPLACING SLM MODULES, PERFORM AN ECU RESET FOUND UNDER THE GUIDED DIAGNOSTICS/RESET ECU MENU IN WITECH. IF DTCs OR ISSUES ARE PRESENT - A PROXI CONFIGURATION ALIGNMENT MAY BE REQUIRED FOLLOWED BY AN ECU RESET.
