NORMA Connector Fitting

This type of quick-connect fitting (1) is equipped with release tabs (2) located on both sides of the fitting. These tabs (2). The plastic release tabs (2) will remain on the component being serviced after the quick-connect fitting is removed. The O-ring and spacer will remain in the quick-connect fitting. Special tools are not required for removal.

1. Clean the area around the holding clip of dirt and debris.
2. Squeeze the plastic release tabs (2) to disengage the quick connector fitting.
   NOTE:

   Do not rotate the quick connector during the disassembly process.

3. Remove the quick-connect fitting (1) from the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system component.
