Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the trim from the left quarter rear panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) from the Radio Frequency Hub (RFH) Module.

  4. Remove the fasteners (2) securing the RFH (1) to its retaining bracket.
  5. Remove the RFH from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Position the RFH to the RFH bracket.
  2. Install and securely tighten the RFH to RFH bracket fasteners.
  3. Connect the wire harness connectors to the RFH.
  4. Install the trim from the left quarter rear panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Using the diagnostic scan tool, the "Restore Vehicle Configuration" routine under the Body Control Modules (BCM) "Misc Functions". Refer to MODULE, RADIO FREQUENCY (RF HUB), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
