Module, Park Assist (PAM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove the trim from the left quarter inner panel to access the Park Assist Module (PAM) (1) located between the C-pillar and the D-pillar. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REAR, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the two body wire harness connectors (3) from the PAM connector receptacles.
  4. Using a drill motor and an appropriate bit, carefully drill out the two blind rivets (2) that secure the PAM to the left quarter inner panel.
  5. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
