Backup Battery: Removal

  1. Remove the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) from the vehicle. Refer to MODULE, GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX, REMOVAL  .
  2. Slide the TBM2 backup battery cover (1a) and lift up to disengage rear tabs (1b). Remove the cover from the TBM2.

  3. Gently disconnect the battery wire connector (1a). Remove the backup battery (1b) from the TBM2.
