3.0L Diesel

- Clean the sealing area in the cylinder block and heating element.
- Install a NEW
O-ring seal (1) onto engine block heater.
- Install the engine block heater (2) and tighten the bolt (1) to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
- Connect the power cord to the engine block heater.
- Install the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, INSTALLATION .
- Fill cooling system with recommended coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Start and warm the engine.
- Check block heater for leaks.
