Sensor, Particulate Matter: Installation: Installation

  1. Install the Particulate Matter (PM) sensor (1) and tighten to 60 N.m (44 ft. lbs.).

  2. Install the PM module (4). Tighten the nuts (2) to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).
  3. Connect the PM sensor wire harness connector (1).

  4. Install the module mounting bracket (2). Tighten the nuts (1) to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).

  5. Install the heat shield (2) and fasteners (1).

  6. Install the fuel filter shield (1). Tighten the nuts (2) 14 N.m (10 ft. lbs.).
  7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  8. Connect the negative battery cables.
