The A/C heater module (1) is a microprocessor designed to operate the heating and A/C system, using the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The A/C heater module has a plastic housing with three electrical connector receptacles (2), three mounting screw holes (3) and two locating tabs.
The A/C heater module is mounted to the instrument panel support, behind the instrument panel center bezel.
