  1. Disconnect the and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the dash end cap (Refer to REMOVAL ).
  3. Remove the steering column opening cover.
  4. Remove the chin bezel located above the floor console. One fastener snaps to the console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL .
  5. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the Ignition Node Module (IGNM).
  6. Remove 4 screws that retain the IGNM in place.
  7. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the back of the IGNM.
  8. Remove the IGNM from the backside of the instrument panel.
