Alternative Procedure
NOTE:
If electric fuel pump is not operating, fuel must be drained through fuel fill fitting at tank. Refer to following procedures:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the fuel pump module. Refer to MODULE, FUEL PUMP, REMOVAL .
- After the fuel pump module has been removed, drain fuel tank into an approved diesel fuel draining station.
