Crankshaft Position Sensor - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.





4. Remove the sensor mounting bolt (2).
5. Carefully twist the sensor (1) from the cylinder block.





6. The CKP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
