NOTE:

Take the proper precautions to protect the door handle and bezel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.

  1. Install the memory seat switch (1) into the driver door handle bezel (3). Push the switch firmly into the bezel until the retaining tabs (2 and 4) are fully engaged.
  2. Install the driver door handle and bezel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  3. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  4. Using a scan tool, perform the Power Seat System Verification test. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Verify proper memory seat system operation.
