Steering System: Pump: Installation: 3.8L
- Install pulley (1) on pump (if removed). Refer to PULLEY, POWER STEERING PUMP, INSTALLATION .
- Install pump on the engine.
- Install 3 pump mounting bolts (2) and tighten to 26 N.m (19 ft. lbs.).
- Install the pressure line on the pump and tighten to 31 N.m (23 ft. lbs.).
- Install supply hose on pump.
- Install drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Check for leaks.
- Install the air box assembly. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
