Sensor-Engine Coolant Temperature: Installation: 5.7L

1 - FRONT OF INTAKE MANIFOLD
2 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
3 - ECT SENSOR
  1. Apply thread sealant to sensor threads.
  2. Install sensor into engine.
  3. Tighten sensor to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.) torque.
  4. Connect electrical connector to sensor.
  5. Carefully bolt air conditioning compressor onto the front of engine.
  6. Install accessory drive belt (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - INSTALLATION) .
  7. Replace any lost engine coolant, refer to appropriate procedure under (STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
