Heater-Engine Block: Installation: 4.7L

1 - ENGINE BLOCK HEATER

Thoroughly clean cylinder block core hole and block heater seat.
Insert block heater assembly with element loop pointing at twelve o'clock.
With block heater fully seated, tighten center screw to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.) torque.
Refill cooling system, refer to appropriate procedure under (STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks.
