Body - Interior & Exterior: Liftgate: Latch: Installation

Position the latch (1) onto the inside of the liftgate.
Install and tighten the three bolts (2) that secure the latch (1) to the studs on the inside of the liftgate.
Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (9 ft. lbs.).

Connect the latch release cable to the handle and seat the support clips.
Connect electrical connectors (2) to the latch (1).

Position the watershield back.
Install the trim panel. (Refer to BODY/LIFTGATE/PANEL-TRIM - INSTALLATION)
Connect the battery negative cable.
