Engine Block Heater: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Raise vehicle.
2. Remove power cord from block heater.
3. Remove bolt on block heater. Remove heater assembly.

INSTALLATION





1. Thoroughly clean cylinder block core hole and block heater seat.
2. Insert block heater assembly into the block.
3. With block heater fully seated, tighten bolt to 2 Nm (17 inch lbs.) torque.
