Fuel Line Quick-Connect Fittings: Notes

CAUTION: The interior components ("O" rings, spacers) of some types of quick-connect fitting are not serviced separately. If service parts are not available, do not attempt to repair a damaged fitting or fuel line. If repair is necessary, replace complete fuel line assembly.

NOTE: Fuel Line Quick-Connect may also be referred to as Disconnect Fittings Fittings.

NOTE: Fuel lines may contain 2-Button type, pinch-type, single-tab, dual-tab, plastic retainer ring and latch clip disconnect fittings. See Figure. Determine type of disconnect fitting used and use proper procedure for proper disconnect fitting. The pinch-type tabs are shown in Fig 1.
