VTSS Does Not Trip From Liftgate Flip-Up Glass Only

Possible Causes are:

• CHECK DRBIII(R) FOR LIFTGATE FLIP-UP RESPONSE
• BCM NO VTSS TRIP FROM LIFTGATE FLIP-UP GLASS

Using the DRBIII(R), read the LIFTGLASS SW status. Open the liftgate flip-up glass. Does the DRBIII(R) display CLOSED? If yes, replace the Body Control Module. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, go to LIFTGATE FLIP-UP AJAR CIRCUIT OPEN  under DOOR AJAR. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
