Manual Transmission (Service Information): Identification

On AX5 transmission, identification number is located on bottom surface of transmission, near drain plug. On NV3550 transmission, identification number is located on top of transmission, forward of shift tower. Transfer case identification number is located on tag attached to rear of transfer case.
