Wiper Inoperative With Wash Function

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) C2 connector. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 2 (Brown wire) on BCM C2 harness connector. Operate washer switch. If voltage is greater than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Brown wire.
  2. Using scan tool, select INPUT/OUTPUT under BODY CONTROL MODULE. Turn ignition on. Operate washer switch while monitoring scan tool display. If scan tool display changes from CLOSED to OPEN, replace BCM. If scan tool display does not change from CLOSED to OPEN, test is complete.
