July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

No Termination

  1. Ensure ignition off. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Gray connector. Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal C30 (Violet/Brown wire) on PCM Gray connector. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select SYSTEM MONITORS. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open Violet/Brown wire. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, go to next step.
  2. Move jumper wire to terminal C28 (White/Black wire) on PCM Gray connector. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open White/Black wire. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, replace PCM and instrument cluster.
