Test TC-113B: EVAP Purge Flow Monitor Failure

NOTE: Perform TEST TC-113A: EVAP PURGE FLOW MONITOR FAILURE  before proceeding. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For component location and wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
NOTE: Replacing PCM will not correct this problem. EVAP purge solenoid may also be referred to as EVAP solenoid.
  1. Disconnect EVAP solenoid-to-EVAP canister vacuum hose at canister. Attempt to blow air through vacuum hose. If air does not flow, repair or replace vacuum hose and perform TEST VER-5A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES . if air flows, go to next step.
  2. Check for plugged vent port on EVAP canister. If vent port is plugged, repair or clean plugged vent port, retest and perform TEST VER-5A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES . If no plug exists, replace EVAP canister and perform TEST VER-5A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES .
