Reading Trouble Codes

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) may be read by using the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) on instrument panel or using DRB. See MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT DIAGNOSTIC MODE and DIAGNOSIS USING DRB headings below. A more complete diagnosis is possible using DRB.

NOTE: The PCM CANNOT diagnose every charging system problem. If a problem still exists after performing self-diagnostic procedures, go to ON-VEHICLE TESTING  .
