Removal & Installation: Stator: Removal
- Remove distributor from engine block. Remove distributor rotor. Position distributor in a soft jawed bench vise and remove gear from shaft using a small pin punch and hammer to drive out roll pin.
- Remove distributor shaft from distributor housing. Remove stator retaining screw and mark location of stator position for assembly reference. Remove stator harness by pushing grommet through housing. Remove stator assembly.
