Detent Downshift Switch
- With ignition on, check that power is available at input terminal (Green wire). With one lead of test light grounded, connect other lead to output terminal (Green/White wire). See Fig 1 .
- Fully depress accelerator pedal, test light should glow. If test light fails to glow, release accelerator pedal and gently depress switch arm. If test light still does not glow, replace kickdown switch.
- If test light glows when switch arm is depressed, loosen switch screws and move switch toward cable until at full throttle opening test light glows. Tighten switch screws and recheck.
