Fuel System Pressure Release

  1. Loosen fuel filler cap to relieve tank pressure. Remove fuel pump relay. See FUEL PUMP RELAY LOCATION  table.

    Model Location
    Rodeo & Rodeo Sport In Underhood Relay Box,
    Trooper & VehiCROSS In Right Underhood Relay Box
  2. Start engine and allow it to run until it stalls. Crank engine for 30 seconds. Disconnect negative battery cable.
