Electronically Controlled Carburetor

The throttle position sensor assembly consists of the idle switch, which is used to determine idle position. The throttle position switch is used to sense pre-wide open throttle (WOT) and WOT positions. The throttle position sensor assembly is connected to the carburetor throttle shaft. The throttle position sensor provides a voltage which is a function of throttle angle. It enables the ECM to read throttle position so the ECM can sense the pre-WOT and WOT position.
