Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove wheel and tire (RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Partially remove front half of fender protector (RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Disconnect harness connector from electric intake valve timing control module.
    CAUTION: Do not touch harness connector pins with bare hands.
  5. Remove electric intake valve timing control module.
  6. If necessary, remove electric intake valve timing control module bracket.
