Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove hoodledge cover (RH) and cowl top cover (RH). Refer to Exploded View .
  2. Remove the battery and battery tray. Refer to Exploded View .
  3. Move IPDM E/R and relay box to a location that does not inhibit work. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the bracket. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Disconnect electric intake valve timing control module harness connector. Refer to HARNESS CONNECTOR (LEVER LOCKING TYPE) in Harness Connector .
  6. Remove electric intake valve timing control module from the vehicle.
