Work Procedure

  1. REPLACE ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM CONTROL UNIT 

    Replace the electronic stability program control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    GO TO 2.

  2. WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION 

    Perform the configuration. Refer to Description .

    GO TO 3.

  3. CALIBRATION OF ACCELERATION SENSOR 

    Perform the calibration of acceleration sensor. Refer to Description .

    GO TO 4.

  4. PERFORM VIN REGISTRATION 

    Perform the VIN REGISTRATION. Refer to Description .

    GO TO 5.

  5. CHECK ALL ECU SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS 
    1. Erase all ECU self-diagnosis results using CONSULT.
    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    3. Turn the ignition switch ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
    4. Check that all ECU self-diagnosis results have no DTC.
