Removal and Installation: Installation
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Never remove and install traction system hydraulic unit and electronic stability program control unit by holding electronic stability program control unit harness.
- Never apply excessive impact to traction system hydraulic unit and electronic stability program control unit, such as by dropping it.
- When replacing with a new traction system hydraulic unit, never remove the protector of the brake tube mounting hole until right before the brake tube is installed.
- When installing brake tubes
to traction system hydraulic unit
, tighten to the specified torque using a flare nut torque wrench (B) so that flare nuts
and brake tube are not damaged. Refer to Exploded View .
- Install electronic stability program control unit harness connector
, follow the procedure described below.
CAUTION:- The following procedure for installing the electronic stability program control unit harness connector must be followed. Otherwise, damage may be caused to the locking mechanism.
- Never touch, deform or damage electronic stability program control unit harness connector and of socket on electronic stability program control unit.
- Never allow any foreign objects, dirt or fluids to enter the socket or electronic stability program control unit harness connector. Otherwise, the electronic stability program control unit will be damaged and malfunction.
- Push the pawl

- Move the lever
in the direction
by approx. 90 degrees.
CAUTION: Never use tool. - After installing the electronic stability program control unit harness connector
, move the lever
in the direction
to secure the locking.
CAUTION: Never handle the connector by lever. The lever can otherwise be damaged.
- Perform adjustment after installation. Refer to Adjustment .
