Component Inspection (Remote Engine Start Relay)
- CHECK REMOTE ENGINE START RELAY
- Apply voltage of 12 V between the remote engine start relay. connector terminals 1 and 2.CAUTION:
- Never cause shorting between terminals.
- Connect the fuse between the terminals when applying the voltage.
- Check continuity between the remote engine start relay connector terminals 3 and 5.
Remote engine start relay Condition Continuity Terminal 3 - 5 Apply voltage between terminals 1 and 2. Existed Do not apply voltage between terminals 1 and 2. Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Replace remote engine start relay. Refer to "A/T SHIFT LOCK SYSTEM: COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION ".
- Apply voltage of 12 V between the remote engine start relay. connector terminals 1 and 2.
