Inspection Procedure

WARNING:
Be careful of traffic conditions and safety around the vehicle when performing road test.
CAUTION:
- Fully understand the following items well before the road test;
- Precautions: Refer to "PRECAUTION FOR LDW/LDP SYSTEM SERVICE ".
- System description for LDW: Refer to "LANE DEPARTURE WARNING (LDW) SYSTEM: SYSTEM DESCRIPTION ".
- System description for LDP: Refer to "LANE DEPARTURE PREVENTION (LDP) SYSTEM: SYSTEM DESCRIPTION ".
- Handling precaution: Refer to "PRECAUTIONS FOR LANE DEPARTURE WARNING/LANE DEPARTURE PREVENTION ".
- CHECK LDW SYSTEM SETTING
- Start the engine.
- Check that the LDW system setting can be enabled/disabled on the navigation screen.
- Turn OFF the ignition switch and wait for 30 seconds or more.
- Check that the previous setting is saved when the engine starts again.
: GO TO 2.
- ACTION TEST FOR LDW
- Enable the setting of the LDW system on the navigation screen.
- Turn warning systems switch ON (warning systems ON indicator is ON).NOTE: LDP system is OFF.
- Check the LDW operation according to the following table.

No action ON OFF - NOTE: After the operating conditions of warning are satisfied, the warning continues until the vehicle speed reaches approximately 60 km/h (40 MPH). Refer to "LANE DEPARTURE WARNING (LDW) SYSTEM: SYSTEM DESCRIPTION ".: GO TO 3.
- CHECK LDP SYSTEM SETTING
- Start the engine.
- Check that the LDP system setting can be enabled/disabled on the navigation screen.
- Turn OFF the ignition switch and wait for 30 seconds or more.
- Check that the previous setting is saved when the engine starts again.
: GO TO 4.
- ACTION TEST FOR LDP
- Enable the setting of the LDP system on the navigation screen.
- Turn dynamic driver assistance switch ON (LDP ON indicator lamp is ON).NOTE: LDW system is OFF.
- Check the LDP operation according to the following table.
