Component Function Check

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Infiniti M56 and 2013 Infiniti M37. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. CHECK FUNCTION 
    1. Select "KEY CYL SW-TR" in "Data Monitor" mode of "THEFT ALM" of "BCM" using CONSULT.
    2. Check the indication under the following conditions.
      Monitor item Condition Indication
      KEY CYL SW-TR Trunk key cylinder switch Off position OF
      On (Trunk lid open) position OFF

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Trunk key cylinder switch is OK.

      NO: Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
