Component Function Check

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Infiniti M56 and 2013 Infiniti M37. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. CHECK FUNCTION 
    1. Select "HOOD SW" in "Data Monitor" mode of "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT.
    2. Check "HOOD SW" indication under the following condition.
      Monitor item Condition Indication
      HOOD SW Hood Open ON
      Close OFF

      Is the indication normal? 

      YES: Hood switch is OK.

      NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
