BULB CHECK ACTION AND FAIL-SAFE INDICATION

Vehicle condition/Driver's operation

BSW indicator

Warning systems ON indicator

Indication on the combination meter

Ignition switch: OFF → ON

Approx. 2 sec. ON

Approx. 5 sec. ON⁽¹⁾

When DTC is detected

OFF

Side radar is factory-default mode condition^NOTE

OFF

When radar blockage is detected

OFF

⁽¹⁾	If BSW initial state is ON, warning systems ON indicator continues turned ON.

NOTE:

The condition is seen regardless BSW system status (ON/OFF).
If either of the side radars is in factory-default mode, the BSW warning lamp blinks.
New side radars are in factory-default mode.
