Possible Causes

FTT sensor circuit range/performance malfunction is detected when rationally incorrect voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM, compared with the voltage signals from engine coolant temperature sensor and intake air temperature sensor. Possible causes are:

• Harness or connectors (sensor circuit is open or shorted).
• Faulty FTT sensor.
