Component Inspection
- Disconnect stop lamp switch harness connector.
- Check continuity between stop lamp switch terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1
. There should be no continuity with brake pedal fully released. There should be continuity with brake pedal depressed.
- If continuity is not to specification, adjust stop lamp switch installation. Repeat previous step.
