Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when rationally incorrect voltage from intake air temperature sensor is sent to ECM, compared with voltage signal from engine coolant temperature sensor. Possible causes are:

NOTE: This test may be conducted with drive wheels lifted in shop or by driving vehicle.
